Pool, patio and entertaining space in the same footprint
The clients wanted the entertaining space to work for a party of forty and for a quiet Tuesday evening, without rebuilding it in between.
The movable floor makes the same square metres do both. Closed, the paving runs unbroken from the covered porch to the edge of the lawn. Lowered, the pool opens up in the middle of it.
Living with it
Depth is chosen to suit whoever is using it, so the shallow setting works for small children while the full depth is there for swimming.
Year-round
Engineered for all-season use, the installation stays in service through the Indiana winter instead of being shut down and covered each autumn.
